2011 Freedom Riders, Produced by Erin Borders

Along with Glenn Institute founder Tom Glenn and faculty and staff members Jere Wells, Luana Nissan, Judy Osborne, Jennifer Dracos-Tice, James Onwuachi, Marjorie Mitchell and Callie Crabb, the group toured the 16th Street Baptist Church that was bombed by the Ku Klux Klan in 1963 – violence that killed four little girls. Students took a walking tour through Birmingham, seeing many historic sites where courageous activists worked and planned how to bring equality to all.
